HTF - Immersion Trips

Click Here to Experience an Immersion Trip

Several times a year, HTF’s Executive Director, Erin Murphy, leads an excursion into Haiti that immerses participants into our grassroots movement. In February 2016 & 2017, a team of servants from Peace, along with other Lutheran congregations, travelled to Haiti with HTF to experience the real life of our partners there. we met Haitians who are working to touch the lives of hundreds of children and families – whether they are facing an urgent need, or seeking to improve the quality of their life through education or job skills training. We met high-achieving Haitian young adults as they pursue their college education through the Haitian Education and Leadership Program (HELP). We visited the homes of some of Haiti’s poorest women and their families to be witnesses to the work they are doing to ascend from ultra-poverty into self-sufficiency through the highly effective Chemen Lavi Miyò program. Thank you for your willingness to learn more about our partnerships in Haiti and walk alongside our partners there.

This trip is currently booked. But please see below for donations that are needed.
