Children’s Ministry Team

Our mission is to partner with families as they raise their children to be disciples of Jesus Christ.  Each member of our team brings different talents and skills to this ministry.  We have the pleasure of working together for the common purpose of sharing God’s Word and the love of Jesus Christ with your children.  We are all available to answer questions or help at anytime - Children's Ministry Office: 614-337-1000 ext. 212 or email us...

Beth Johnson
Team Leader
Beth was born and raised in Arizona and attended the University of Arizona, Tucson. Beth’s background is in retail sales and management. After moving to Flagstaff, Arizona Beth met her husband, Greg, and his job brought them to Columbus in 1997. They have four wonderful daughters - Emily, Melissa, Allison and Julia. Beth began as a volunteer in Children’s Ministry and has now been on staff at Peace for 10 years. Beth’s favorite part of her job is spending time with the kids (all ages!) and helping them better understand the stories and lessons of the Bible. When she’s not at Peace, Beth enjoys reading, making jewelry and visiting with friends.

Greta Clouse

Greta is originally from Toledo, Ohio and  first learned about Peace Lutheran as a camp counselor at Camp Luther, part of Lutheran Outdoor Ministries of Ohio. She attended Capital University, earning her degree in Early Childhood Education and began regularly attending Peace after graduation.  She has since earned a Master's Degree in Educational Leadership from the University of Dayton and has earned her Administrator's License as well. Greta taught third grade at Reynoldsburg City Schools for seven years and then became an Instructional Coach. She and her husband Greg (a pharmacist), have been members at Peace for 12 years and now reside in Pataskala. They have been blessed with two young boys: Griffin and Grady. When she is not working at Peace, Greta is a stay-at-home mom and really loves it! For her, working on the Children's Ministry Team has been a true blessing, as she is able to use her skills as an educator, work with children and families and be creative, all while spreading and teaching about the love of Christ.
